Logging Off: A Farewell to My Technology-based Learning Odyssey 👋😿

Like all good things, this adventure must come to an end. As I wrote my last blog post, what began as a simple platform for exploring instructional technologies has evolved into a valuable place for learning and sharing my insights. Learning about Corpus, Flipped Learning, AR/VR and AI contributed to shape my possible future language teachings. Embracing these innovative technologies is critical for establishing successful, future-ready learning environments for me.

Since I came across many of these technological tools for the first time, sometimes, it was challenging and confusing. Without a prior interaction with the tools, it took some time to fully grasp the purpose and effective use of the platforms. I was overwhelmed by the vast and complicated options of the COCA platform, losing my way to navigate the tool.

My favourite task was the AR/VR task in which we created a guide to explore the city of Copenhagen. It was fun to prepare the worksheet via Canva, which is my favourite online design platform with its wide range of visual choices. Therefore I can say that I feel secure with the tools that I am familiar with.

It was a satisfying journey to expand my "learning odyssey" as an ongoing process. Even though I doubt that this blog will ever have an audience since I believe the chances to find someone who reads blogs are quite low nowadays, I got my self-fulfillment as a future teacher candidate. So, take good care of yourself and do not forget that the pursuit of learning and creativity never fully ends!
